been waiting 20 years to see Disturbed. They put on a fantastic show that night. Nearly 2 hours on stage. I was reliving my 80s youth again and it was a blast. I need to see them again. They did not disappoint.

That was the intro? How anticlimactic! Just walk out on stage no energy everyone looks bored. Concerts in the old days had a huge intro song and people were pumped. Never saw people so tired looking at the beginning of a concert.

Random view one Sunday afternoon in 2024. Rise Against songs are SO SUBJECTIVE-more so than other artists. This song to me makes me sad about not loving some people like I used to love them. I thought if you loved, you loved the same forever. I still HAVE LOVE for some folks but it’s not the same “I’ll die if they aren’t next to me” love that I usually feel and I think I lost that “way of loving” with age. It’s sad-to love like that is what you think the idea of love is as a young person…Intense. Now I have love for some but the sun still rises and sets even if I never talk to them again…🙄😒 I like the young outlook on love-it’s more meaningful. Thankfully I took longer to grow up vs others (which sucked at the same time) so I got a little extra time with that intense love. That’s what this song is to me. Missing that love but accepting life today as it is.
